Why is it important?
Most people are unprepared for what comes after death—emotionally and practically.
Grief is often treated as a private matter, but its effects ripple through our homes, workplaces, and communities. Dossta advocates for a world where grief is understood, supported, and openly discussed—without shame, awkwardness, or silence.
Why now?
The pandemic revealed just how invisible grief can be—and how unprepared we are to support it.
In a world still catching its breath, we can no longer afford to leave people to grieve alone. Now is the time to create more compassionate homes, more understanding workplaces, and better resources for those navigating loss.
Dossta exists to help build that future—step by step, story by story.

Founder
Dossta was created as a response to a gap Amelie saw—and felt—around how we navigate grief in our homes, workplaces, and communities.
After witnessing firsthand how grief can be isolating, confusing, and invisible, the need to build something different was clear: a platform rooted in empathy, simplicity, and clarity.
Dossta is a personal project with a public mission: to advocate for better grief awareness, share tools that can help with the often-unseen tasks after a loss, and encourage more open conversations about death and bereavement.
Dossta is not here to tell people how to grievem, it's here to support and ensure no one feels they have to do it alone.
